Faces from the Block was an 8-year collaboration project between Ananda Nahu, South Bronx Puerto Rican photographer Ricky Flores and Brazilian artists Izolag. Faces from the Block was proud to receive the support of Simon Bolivar Foundation, and a grant from Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education,Bronx Health Reach and NYCHA ( New York City Housing Authority ) for apply the project in the NYC governament buildings, the blocks. The theme reflected the vibrant and ghe cultural diversity of South Bronx community, focoused on active living.
